A weekend of activity and relaxation in Bad Wilhelmshöhe
Come and experience a weekend of varied and exciting activities. Bad Wilhelmshöhe – Kassel invites you to activate your body and experience the refreshing sensation of relaxation. In addition to an active programme and various relaxation exercises on the medical level, patients can also relax and enjoy a stroll through the magnificent park landscapes or visit Europe’s largest hillside park and Schloss Wilhelmshöhe with its art gallery of Old Masters. Or why not enjoy an exciting evening at a variety show at the Starclub Kassel or a theatre production at the Staatstheater in Kassel.
Activities start directly the day you arrive: after a preliminary check-up, patients take to the waters for some aqua-fitness and afterwards for some relaxation in the sauna. On Saturday morning, patients set off to the Bergpark for some sporting activities before taking part in three training sessions with a rewarding massage at the end. Sunday is devoted to intensive cardiovascular training, finishing up with stretching exercises and massage. A round of discussions and exchange of views at the end of the programme gives patients tips on how to carry on keeping fit.
