Kassel – the capital of the German Fairy-Tale Route
In Kassel, the capital of the German Fairy-Tale Route, the Brüder Grimm-Museum bears testimony to the life and work of the prominent literary scholars Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. In addition, Kassel is celebrating two special anniversaries this year – the German Fairy-Tale Route which is 30 years old and Dorothea Viehmann, the woman who related fairy tales to the Brothers Grimm – who would now be 250 years old!
